Let's go to the Movies!

Do you remember the fun we had last year watching Pride and Prejudice?
I had so much fun, I forgot to take pictures when the lights were on!
The night was filled with LOTS of food, precious down time, and catching up with ladies we haven't had time to chat with in ages.  I know I even met a few new friends!  It was a night many of us needed to reconnect, relax, and get recharged for the fast approaching holidays.

If you don't remember all that fun, you won't want to miss this up coming movie night watching
Sense and Sensibility!

I have to admit, these stories remind me too much of unwanted high school English homework,
but our movie nights are not boring (or graded!).
In fact, the diversity of Jane Austin fans blew my mind!

Whether you love the old English stories, want to spend time with your trinitywomen family, or just want some yummy food (I won't judge), come out to our next Movie Night!  Bring your friends!  This is a great opportunity to bring those who back away from "churchy" events.

Here are the details for you to copy and share:
TrinityWomen Movie Night, Friday, Nov. 4, 7:00 pm
Ladies, join us for a great time of fun and fellowship as we view
“Sense and Sensibility.”
We will provide beverages and popcorn.
Bring a friend and a snack or dessert to share.
The cost is $5 payable at the door.
To sign up please e-mail: icalland@trinitylife.com.

Welcome Shower!

We have a new addition to our Trinity Family!
All the way from Uruguay, the Pintos family has traveled to live and work with us.  Jonas Pintos is a new Pastor at Trinity serving the Hispanic community in Baltimore. He and his wife, Roxana, have 3 grown children.
Let's welcome them with open arms!

Come out to the LOL comedy night Feb 11 to meet Roxana.  We would love to surprise her with a welcoming shower of sorts.  They left everything behind and need any kind of home goods you can think of, from kitchen utensils,
linens, bathroom items, clocks, lamps, small appliances.
E.v.e.r.y.t.h.i.n.g.
If you would like to participate in this blessing, you can bring
new gifts wrapped or unwrapped.
No gift is too large or small, but please bring a gift receipt in case of duplicates!

Bagels and Bibles!

Bagels and Bibles!

This group meets every Saturday morning at 7:30am at Einstein Bagels on York Road, Lutherville, ending around 8:30-8:45am.

This is a small group that takes prayer requests for the first half hour and then commences with a book study.  Elaine gently leads the group but we all share in the responsibility of reading the book and share individual chapter reviews.

The best part of the group is that we share personal trials/triumphs and pray for each other every day.

"It's your time to declare your faith, to look for God's favor, and to give control of your life to Him so that you can find fulfillment in His plans for you!"

The next study will be, "It's Your Time" by Joel Osteen.  It's available at the public library, Barnes and Noble, and I'm sure at numerous retailers.  Next Saturday they will preview the book.  On the 29th we'll start with chapter 1.

Elaine can be reached at Mark.Bumbaugh@gmail.com.

Aglow

Ever wonder about that weird name.  Reminds me of the toy glow worms.  I never really knew what it meant until recently.  I usually just ignore stuff I don't understand, for fear of just getting confused, but this was pretty easy to get.

Here is the text book definition.

Aglow International is a trans-denominational organization of Christian women with more than 4,000 local groups in 171 nations of the world. Begun a little more than 40 years ago as a small bible study, Aglow now reaches about 200,000 women each month thru local groups which is the heart of Aglow. Many are engaged in various community outreaches - prisons, orphanages and feeding the poor etc.

Trinity is the Host church to the Towson Aglow of Maryland.  Women of all ages, from various churches and neighborhoods are invited for a lovely breakfast assortment of bagels, pastries, fruit, coffee and juice as our worship team leads us in a precious time of worship.

Here is the heart definition.

Through fellowship, prayer, strong support and powerful teaching, women come to know who God created them to be, the beauty and confidence God desires women to walk in, and establish friendships that will last a lifetime. They also participate in projects that reach out to our community and also around the world.

As one women said, “Being a part of Aglow has opened my eyes to the incredible love God has for me, how I can love Him back, and how to allow Jesus to freely love others through me.”

This is more than just a Bible study.
This is an in depth, learning to live and put into practice faith study!
Aglow meets at 9:20 to 11:30, the last Saturday of every month. They meet in the Children’s center across from the BAC. Check it out!
