Bagels and Bibles!
Bagels and Bibles!
This group meets every Saturday morning at 7:30am at Einstein Bagels on York Road, Lutherville, ending around 8:30-8:45am.
This is a small group that takes prayer requests for the first half hour and then commences with a book study. Elaine gently leads the group but we all share in the responsibility of reading the book and share individual chapter reviews.
The best part of the group is that we share personal trials/triumphs and pray for each other every day.
"It's your time to declare your faith, to look for God's favor, and to give control of your life to Him so that you can find fulfillment in His plans for you!"
The next study will be, "It's Your Time" by Joel Osteen. It's available at the public library, Barnes and Noble, and I'm sure at numerous retailers. Next Saturday they will preview the book. On the 29th we'll start with chapter 1.
Elaine can be reached at Mark.Bumbaugh@gmail.com.

Aglow
Ever wonder about that weird name. Reminds me of the toy glow worms. I never really knew what it meant until recently. I usually just ignore stuff I don't understand, for fear of just getting confused, but this was pretty easy to get.
Here is the text book definition.
Aglow International is a trans-denominational organization of Christian women with more than 4,000 local groups in 171 nations of the world. Begun a little more than 40 years ago as a small bible study, Aglow now reaches about 200,000 women each month thru local groups which is the heart of Aglow. Many are engaged in various community outreaches - prisons, orphanages and feeding the poor etc.
Trinity is the Host church to the Towson Aglow of Maryland. Women of all ages, from various churches and neighborhoods are invited for a lovely breakfast assortment of bagels, pastries, fruit, coffee and juice as our worship team leads us in a precious time of worship.
Here is the heart definition.
Through fellowship, prayer, strong support and powerful teaching, women come to know who God created them to be, the beauty and confidence God desires women to walk in, and establish friendships that will last a lifetime. They also participate in projects that reach out to our community and also around the world.
As one women said, “Being a part of Aglow has opened my eyes to the incredible love God has for me, how I can love Him back, and how to allow Jesus to freely love others through me.”

This is more than just a Bible study.
This is an in depth, learning to live and put into practice faith study!
Aglow meets at 9:20 to 11:30, the last Saturday of every month. They meet in the Children’s center across from the BAC. Check it out!callamerkle@gmail.com or parisecampbell@verizon.net for more information.

Is it Spring yet?
I know things have been slow at a stand still throughout the holidays, but I think we are getting on track again. (We being this summer loving, winter hermit, who dreams of hiding under her covers until she sees her shadow and comes out for Spring.) As if my children would allow me to even sleep in, let alone take a day off of obligations. I'm try to get rolling after the hectic, off schedule, sugar rush of a holiday break (and we didn't even do anything for the Cantata! I don't know how you people dot it!)
That said.... get ready for some amazing things happening this year with trinitywomen!

We need Betty Crocker
And all her friends (ie. YOU!)
If you didn't realize, Christmas is coming. I know there are many reactions happening right now. Sighs of exasperation, giddy dancing, list makers are stocking up on paper and pens...
I won't tell you what category I fall under.
I'm working on that. ahem.
There is one thing that many of us women are doing this season though.
We are baking.
Or for some of us- We are BAKING!!!! *Squeal with Delight!*
If this is your thing, your joy, your favorite way to share this holiday season, we need you.
Trinity needs ladies (or any men you know who don a hot mitt) to bring in 2 or 4 dozen of your choice of cookie for the Christmas Eve service (please avoid nuts!).
Well, not for the actual service, but the fellowship time after!
Issy Calland will be the one you want to contact to sign up.
icalland@trinitylife.com or 410.821.6188. x. 102
She needs this information by Thursday, December 16!
Be sure to tell her how many dozen and what kind of cookies you will make.
(Oatmeal raisin, snicker doodles, gingerbread men, sugar cookies, chocolate chip.....oh dear, I think I just drooled on my laptop.)
If you come to the Christmas Eve service, please consider sharing!
